Abe Dawson

Abe Dawson would not call himself an artist, however, that is exactly what he was raised to be.  He grew up in Great Falls, MT and was a classically trained pianist by the age of 8.  He turned his artistic talents to woodworking while still in his teens. 

He is more comfortable in the quiet of his woodshop than engaging in ‘meet and greets’ or even talking with people when showing his pieces at art shows.  His gift is in creating and those who see his work agree that a gift is what he has.  He might call himself a craftsman, but what he ‘crafts’ is art.  He takes inspiration from anywhere and at anytime.  He creates on his own time and in his own way and that freedom allows him to develop pieces of distinction and exclusivity.
